European Freeride Festival T&C

This Video Contest is organised by European Freeride Festival in collaboration with EpicTV SAS and their associated companies.
All the video content is provided by filmmakers. The content is checked and controlled diligently by EpicTV SAS. In any case EpicTV SAS and their associated companies cannot be responsible for any damage of any kind (direct , non direct, or other).
The video producer/filmmaker is the sole owner of the video. By the act of uploading the video on the EpicTV platform individual on their on behalf or on the behalf of their company are allowing EpicTV SAS and their associated companies to keep the video online even after the end of this contest.
The producer/owner of the video confirms that his video is not violating the copyright terms and is his own intellectual property. This content will be considered non-exclusive.
The producer/owner recognises that EpicTV SAS and their associated companies are able to distribute the non-exclusive content after the end of the contest in all worldwide territories and in perpetuity.
Employees of EpicTV SAS, European Freeride Festival, and the other sponsors attached to the festival, and/or their associated companies or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition or their family members shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
Closing date for entry will be midnight (CET) on Sunday 1st of May. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of our negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the competition, including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

We will use any personal information that you provide with your entry to the competition for the purposes of the competition and you give your consent to also be contacted for marketing purposes by the European Freeride Festival, the sponsors attached to the festival, EpicTV SAS, and their associated companies, including the distribution of regular email updates or newsletters. Any personal information relating to entrants will be used in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

If winner does not acknowledge confirmation of being the winner within 7 days of notification from the European Freeride Festival and/or EpicTV, the European Freeride Festival and/or EpicTV SAS reserve the right to choose a replacement winner, who will be contacted. The first chosen winner then has no rights to claim a prize. The term of 7 days to acknowledge winning then applies to the second chosen winner, and this process will continue in the same form thereafter until a winner claims the prize within 7 days of being notified.

EpicTV SAS and the European Freeride Festival, along with it’s associated companies reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value for this or any other reason that it determines in its sole and absolute discretion. Prize must be accepted as awarded, is not transferable except at the sole discretion of EpicTV and European Freeride Festival and cannot be converted to cash. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All prize details are at EpicTV and European Freeride Festival’s sole discretion.
All taxes, insurances and other costs and expenses, as the case may be, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including the competition), existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law, excluding its choice of law provisions. The courts of Finland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
